About Me

Claude Michelle is a designer whose work embodies the quiet power of elegance and the artistry of timeless craft. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, and now calling Houston, Texas home since 2022, his story begins far from the ateliers of Milan yet his journey mirrors their devotion to beauty and detail.

The son of Michelle Sanon, a master seamstress from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with over forty years of refinement in her hands, Claude was raised in a world where every stitch mattered, where fabric was more than material it was poetry in motion.

His earliest forays into style came among the polished corridors of fine department stores, dressing mannequins as one might prepare a portrait meticulous, considered, and full of character. In 2003, he took his first step into the realm of creation, crafting handmade bow ties and neckties of impeccable proportion, each one a small expression of sartorial romance.

Over time, these pieces blossomed into complete garments collections that marry heritage with modernity, restraint with flourish. Claude’s work honors the discipline of tailoring and the sensuality of drape, evoking a style that feels at once universal and intimately personal. Every design tells a story woven with memory, elevated by craftsmanship, and destined for those who understand that true luxury is not shouted, but whispered.
